If one more person tells me...
that we should just give up already and start the adoption process (like their **insert name/relationship to them here**) then we'll get pregnant naturally, I'm going to   My GP told us this today!!!!!
That is all.... 
Even when I tell them I don't ovulate on my own, so that's not really an option for us, I swear they don't hear me... it must be nice to tune other people out and think what you want.

Oh come on most people don't even know anything about the reproductive system...even though they've had like 3 kids... And have a medical degree.
What I love most is that people think the adoption process is so EASY and cheap solution.
OK, keep venting I'm in a pissy mood today. AF is coming, I feel her lurking.

This WAS my dr (general practitioner)... DH and I went together b/c we aren't feeling well and one of my DB's kids was sick this week, as was my SIL (found out she got put on antibiotics last night)... so we went to make sure we don't have strep or anything. While there I discussed other dr's that I've been seeing and speaking with lately, and their theories--- and he says:
"wow, you've given me a lot of information. does it affect you when you go through these miscarriages? do you just keep going on with the daily grind or does it affect you?" DH and I just looked at him like  
SERIOUSLY????!?!?!? I told DH I should've said "No we actually go out and celebrate when it happens! It's EXTRA fun too b/c we not only pay dr's bills when we m/c, but we pay them just to GET pregnant in the first place too!!!!" It's been hours and I'm STILL furious. I have his cell # and am SO SO tempted to call him up and give him a piece of my mind. Really???? How do you ask someone something like that after they just told you they've had 6 m/c's? Jerk...

wow I'd be drinking after that $hit! I don't blame you if you do, at all. Does he think you're suicidal or something?
That adoption story is for me too- since it happened to my cousin I've been hearing nothing but that. <insert scream> I feel your pain...

everyone knows how to "fix" you when you ar dealing with infertility...either by they way to have sex that will work..or by just adopt
you are a strong woman bc i would have flipped out

That's truly dumb. Because a few people get pregnant, coincidentally after they adopt, that mean adoption causes your body to begin ovulating. It's like telling someone to knock three times and jump up and down for 1 week, then you will get pregnant.
Last summer I asked my DH's GP to check his hormones since we are having trouble conceiving. She said that only womens hormones would affect fertility. I thought that was odd since I knew testosterone plays a huge role in male reproduction. I learned that in middle school. Well, 6 months later a urologist tested his testosterone and it was severely low, hence contributing to infertility.

GPs are the most ignorant. If its not a cold or flu they are clueless.
People really have no clue unless they go through it or practice it.

Coworkers and clients woulkd say this to me ( the ones who knew about if and my losses). I couldn't be mean to clients but eventually I would try to make a joke and say okay...." We are starting an adoption fund then... Lemme know who wants to donate!". That would get the point across without being toooo confrontatuonal. And now that I am og everyone keeps saying are u gonna have a second??? Cause u know even if u had to take meds for this one most woemn are suoper fertike after a baby!". So I say if u don't mind paying for childcarte for two and for docs visits I will do my best!!! Really. Grrrrm. So sorry dumb people suck.

im so sorrytohear this. I occ read over postshere, becuase ive been there. Keep your head up. People are extremely ignorant and unless they themselves go through it, they have no idea what you are dealing with or going through. My heart goes out to you. GP just doesnt know how to ask if this is affecting in more than just being upset or down.. Please have a great day and keep your head up.

Thanks girls. 
It's just so frustrating... I'm trying to get to the bottom of what's going on, and am feeling as though whichever way I turn is going to be the wrong way.
I reached out to a different type of dr who has a theory as to what's wrong, and how to fix it. Unfortunately his treatment is $$$$$$  And I spoke w/ my Dr and he's not really in agreement with this dr.... and I added my GP (Dr. "C") into the mix b/c I wasn't feeling well anyway and was hoping he would say either Dr "A" or Dr "B" are right/wrong... or Dr A sounds like a quack, etc... but he seemed to be in agreement with both.
So now I'm going back to the basics-- just requested a ton of bloodwork from my GPs office to make sure that I'm not vitamin deficient in anything (was reading this morrning that Vitamin D deficiency can cause m/c's. Not that I tihnk that's what's causing mine, but I know in the past I've been vitamin D deficient, so figured I should check it all out... Hopefully one of these days I'll have more to post... for now i'm laying low and taking it one day at a time.
