If one more person tells me....
I need to gain more weight I swear I will swing on them!!!! So far in the past week everyone I see says "Your so small!!! Baby can't be getting all of the nutrition it needs"!!! One person freaked DH out so bad he went out and bought me protein bars which might I add were returned within the day they were bought. I eat healthy, and snack healthy, why can't people give me a break???

I've been hearing the same thing, and it's so frustrating!!! I'm carrying small, but me and baby are definitely getting all the nutrition we need (if not more  ).
I wish people would just shut their mouths when it comes to pregnant women!

I never realized how annoying people can be until I got pregnant. I think they mean well, but all the comments about my weight gain and what I'm eating and how I look, are really, REALLY getting on my nerves. One co-worker comments DAILY on how I can't be eating enough b/c I don't look pregnant "from behind". Um, last I heard we held our bellies in the front!
Try to tune them out. You know you are doing the best for you and the baby.

i can relate, except that I was not thin to begin with so most people dont notice on me. ive gained 12 lbs and DH's family is convinced its not enough  people at work keep saying "you havent gained anything, you really dont look big enough to be 8 months, is the baby getting what it needs?"
YES YES YES, he is fine, he is measuring perfectly, he moves CONSTANTLY, he is perfect ... leave me alone 
the less i gain, the less i have to loose  i have PLENTY to loose anyway and its not like im not trying!! (as i sit here snacking on Cadbury mini eggs)

Yesterday a male coworker said to me- Seriously are you eating? You look WAY too small.
Thanks a-hole. Trust me, I'm eating PLENTY
My hair girl asked me the same thing on Saturday about eating enough aand said- well what does the Dr say? Why are you so smalll?
It's like people are expecitng me to have this HUGE belly and since I don't they get upset.
But then- if you are BIG they have what to say about that too.
YOU CAN'T WIN!

People just cant keep their mouths shut either way. I got that a lot my first pregnancy but this one it's the total opposite... I actually miss being on your end of the spectrum

Oh please... people don't know what they are talking about. When you are PG you get criticized no matter what... people are telling me I've gained too much. If I gained a few pounds less these same people would be telling me to gain more... just ignore them and listen to what your doctor says.

I get this all the time, and I'm always saying...."umm, thanks I guess?"
I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and put on a modified diet in December so I haven't gained any weight since then. Baby is still growing at a good rate and my OB is fine with my progress but everyone always seems to have something to say about my lack of weight gain.
You just have to learn to tune it out because I'm sure the unsolicited advice will just get worse once the baby arrives!

people are always telling me I look so small for how far along I am, and I tell them it's because of my height- one of the benefits of being tall. Which I actually believe is true since I'm on the higher end of the weight-gain spectrum. I take it as a compliment- it's better than someone calling you huge.
