Keurig K-cups
I got DW a Keurig for Christmas. For those who have one, where is the best place to buy the K-cups, and what are some good flavors to buy, not just coffee.

Re: Keurig K-cups
we just got one at work - just wanted to let you know some of the flavored coffees we had (sampler box - not sure exactly which ones) had succrolose - which I'm not a fan of so you might want to double check that too.

That's a good thing. We love Splenda. I'm diabetic, so artificial sweeteners are a good thing...

Re: Keurig K-cups
I like the Green Mountain & Millstone brands.
I also like the Grove Square that you can get at Stop & Shop for around $6.00 a box.
I have also used my 20% off coupons and bought K-cups at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Tip: There is a small k-cup shaped basket you can buy that you can fill with your own coffee that will save you money.
If I existed on K-cups alone (especially when we have company), I'd go broke.
I often use my french press when I have company over and set that out on the table ;).
I use the basket and fill it with my own hot chocolate and it tastes delicious.
Note: Stay away from the K-cup teas. A family member got me a variety pack and I thought they tasted gross. That I will always brew from my tea kettle.

We just brew right into the cup with a teabag in it with no Kcup in the machine. Much cheaper! Easier than using the tea kettle.
We also do the same for bullion water, or cup-o-noodles. Basically quick hot water.

Good point!
I've made my son oatmeal this way too.
I think my initial point was that making tea the old fashioned way with tea bag and hot water is what tastes best.

Re: Keurig K-cups
Yeah, we're not using the Keurig to replace the kettle. Also, DW like BIG cups of tea, so it would take 3 pods to make one cup, so definitely not economical that way.
I want to try a few things for DC (hot cocoa, cider, etc), and have a few varieties for when we have guests over. It never fails that 3 people want decaf, 2 want regular, 2 want tea, and 1 wants hot cocoa....
I like the idea of instant hot water, though. I'll have to check that out.

Re: Keurig K-cups
We typically buy from bigcatcoffe so DH can mix and match. I drink tea which we get from there too. Starbucks just came out with their k-cups, which you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond. I also like their Tazo teas.
You should try the iced tea pods as well. Celestial seasons has some good flavors.

Re: Keurig K-cups
I love strong coffee so my favorites are Starbucks (got it at Costco) and Dunkin Dark.

DH orders them from amazon sometimes. And I get them at bed, bath & beyond. You can use the 20% coupon on them.

Re: Keurig K-cups
Hate the hot chocolates, think the Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast tea tastes good.
I usually try to buy at Kohls when I get a 30% coupon but two weeks ago Target had a sale that was the same as Kohls with 30% or BBB with 20% coupons, so I stocked up on Nantucket Blend which is the only coffee I will drink from the machine.

We like Newman's own Medium Roast. The cheapest I have found it was Costco. For 80 k-cups it is $37

We are asked not to use the hot cocoa in the machine at work - I think it clogs up the machine or something.

I'm a Dunkin Donut coffee fan, but you have to buy the K cups at DD.

You are supposed to run thru another cycle just water - to clear it out.
