WWYD

So I posted on Christmas Eve how my RE had the nurse call me to say this cycle was out and I should take provera. I chose not to, and having faith in my very long cycles, OPK'd at home. I got my Chat Icon today. I also have been having EWCM for the past two days and using Preseed and am feeling crampy today. DH and I have be BDing since Saturday. I have Ovidrel in my fridge and was wondering if I should take it. I do O on my own usually and I am temping so I know for sure when I O. What would you do...take the ovidrel or not? I don't feel like calling my RE cause I am tired of her giving up on my cycles because this is not the first time she gave up and I O'd.

I don't like taking meds unless the dr said it's ok. If you're not happy with your RE, have you considered changing?

She wanted me to do 6 rounds of clomid first before moving on to other meds...she said injectables have a higher rate of multiples. This was round 3 and I didn't repsond. Last cycle I had a chemical so she wanted to keep going with the clomid at a higher dose.

I think based on my low E2 levels she thought I wouldn't O. But I have come to know my body after this process and I know that my E2 level is a creeper and then shoots up right before I O. I feel the docs get impatient with me and just want to move on to the next cycle.

i completely agree. 6 rounds of clomid is ridiculous, esp if she thinks that you aren't responding to it. i would def not take any injectable without your Dr's OK, but i would also set up some consults with other doctors at this point.
