I chopped my hair recently. Maybe about 12 inches. I was miserable. crying and all. but, i've gotten a lot of compliments, am told I look really young, and it's very easy. So, i think I prefer long hair generally, but I didn't have the time to style my long hair every day to make it look nice, so I guess in the end I don't regret it.
ETA--totally agree that long hair makes me feel more feminine. Short hair can be cute, but to me, long hair is more sensual and feminine.
Totally agree with your ETA statement.
I've gone through the chop/grow cycle too many times. I'm now sticking with long hair. I feel like it makes my face look better - and DH likes it better.

everytime i cut my hair i end up wishing i didnt.
i always look better in pictures with long hair.
now i just go for trims.

I wear extensions becuase my own hair doesn't grow fast enough.
So I would never willing chop my hair off.
Never.
I am so in love with my extensions
I love long hair
I will never even go back to shoulder lenght hair! that seems short to me now

Thats always what I do. I chop it off - usually hate it and grow it long and say Ill never do it again - then get tired of long hair and start the process all over again. I have never had a hairstyle I liked.

I love my short hair. It's the only way it looks styled. I cut it last April and do not see myself going back.

i end up not liking it if its anywhere above my collar bone.
I do however get it thinned out-(which some stylist wont do). but it feels a million times lighter and so much more manageable.
I desperately need a hair cut

You are right- Extensions are TOTALLY addicting.
I can never go back now.
Which is bad in a way- because I created a monster! But I don't care- I just love the look it gives and I never have felt more confident.

I go back and forth. I've gotten alot of compliments on my shorter hair- it is quicker to dry. But at the same time it sucks that I can't put it up in a ponytail and there's little I can do it with it. When it was longer I had more options.
Also, when its short I have to style it or it looks bad. When it was longer if I just let it air dry with some mousse it would still be okay.
Short and long both have their pros and cons.
