When and where to register!!!
Hey Everyone! Just curious to know when the "right" time to register is and where is everyone registering, TIA!!!

I waited until I knew the gender. If you are not finding out you can start whenever. Otherwise I would wait so you do not have to make a bunch of trips to change gender on items.
I registered at BBB and Target. I was not impressed with BRU selection. And I only picked Target fro certain family members.

DId BRU and Target, no problems with either. We started at 16 weeks, and added to them throughout.

I waited to 20 weeks once we knew the gender and had our anatomy scan and knew everything was fine. I registered at both bru and bbb. Most of the items I received were from bru though, I think because most people have a bru near them and there aren't that many buy buy baby.
I know some people will say they have problems with returns at bru but I never did. They took back things without a receipt even if they weren't on my registry.

I registered at 19 weeks. We went with no specific gender because we were staying team green.
We registered at BRU.

I think we're going to register with BRU just because it's most convenient for everyone. I've been picking out things I like for either gender and emailing the links for the products to myself so I don't forget. I'm planning to wait until the anatomy scan so we'll know the gender, so around 18-20 weeks.

We registered at 16 weeks. The majority of the items I registered for were from Buy Buy Baby and a few things at BRU. I only registered at BRU because we have a lot of friends in Brooklyn and going to BBB was inconvenient for them.

For the boys, I registered mostly at BBB but put a few things on BRU. BBB has the best return policy. Target is horrible for returns so I didn't register there. I think I registered around 12 weeks.

Since I'm dealing with this now... put your EDD as earlier because you don't get your completion coupon until 2 measly weeks before your DD. 
Don't forget to sign up for their email list otherwise you won't get a coupon. I just signed up for BBB and got a nice 20% off one item. Glad I waited until now for that so I can use it! Any earlier and it would have gone to waste.

I started a private (for my eyes only) Amazon registry at 10w so I could research items and keep the ones I liked all in one spot.
DH and I will go to BRU and officially register at 19w. We're team green
