Help calm my nerves....

I am 8 months pregnant ...
I have noticed that on my thumbs and big toe nails there is a deep reddish purple on the skin at the base of my nails.

I can see it mostly when I push my cuticle back.

I asked the OB when I was there this past week and she said she wouldnt worry about it but recommended me to a dermatologist - if I was going to worry.

I cant get an appointment until mid October and my nerves will get the best of me until then.

I googled it and of course, find the worst.

Anyone friends with a dermatoligist or have any experience? Im totally freaking out here.

No experience but I went to a great dermatologist in Amityville. They got me in right away, no month long wait.

I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the office, but they are right across the street from Stop and Shop on Montauk Highway. They used to be on Grand Avenue in Massapequa, but they moved here.

I agree with Bonnie go to an office that can get you in sooner!
