Please calm my nerves
Last wkd the baby was thumping like mad. But the past 2-3 days im barely getting any movement. Its a thump here and a thump there. Its not nearly as wild at nite as it was over the wkd and all last week.
Im nervous now.

Re: Please calm my nerves
completely normal. At your stage there were days when I hardly felt anything at all and others where he was going nuts. It made me feel better when we were at our 20 week sono and I could see him moving around tons, but didn't necessarily feel it. Made me realize that even though you don't always feel the kicks, it doesn't mean they're not moving around in there. The change could be down to how aware you are, or the baby's position, etc.

Keep in mind the bigger the baby gets, the less room to move around...so you always feel a ton of movement when movement first starts and then it should actually in reality die down. HTH!
Im sure all is ok.

How many weeks are you?
When I get nervous I have a half a can of Pepsi, and that gets him kicking right away!

Re: Please calm my nerves
Same thing had happened to me - right around your timeframe - I actually had called my doctor just for confirmation that it was normal - and they said I could come in just to listen to the HB and see the doctor - just so I could rest assured that everything was fine.
I was so pleased when they invited me to do so... It did me a world of good.
They assured me that everything was AOK - and that the baby probably found a comfy spot...... all normal.

Re: Please calm my nerves
At that point in your pregnancy movement is still very sporatic. One day it could be moving like crazy and then you could feel nothing for 3 days, just like you described. As the baby gets bigger and stronger you will feel more and more.

I totally agree with this.
I felt thumping at 22 weeks exactly, then nothing again until 27 weeks. And even then it was sporadic. I didn't feel constant movement until I was in the middle of my 30th week.
I also had an anterior placenta too.

With my first I didn't start feeling kicks until 23 weeks. Even now, at almost 27 weeks I randomly feel the kicks. Every week they get more frequent!
