Please help me to calm my nerves down

I love being pregnant. But I am so petrified of having a miscarriage again. I had a D&C done before. How can I overcome this fear ? I am only 8 weeks. FOr this pregnancy, I feel so different. I had no morning sickness just sleepy all the time. Is that normal ? Please help. My nerves are really killin' me. Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon It's totally normal to just be feeling sleepy right now. I can't imagine how nervous you must be. Just hang in there. Hopefully, with each passing day you'll feel less nervous. I have never had a miscarriage and I still kept worrying and worrying for weeks on end. I would say around 12 weeks, both pregnancies, I finally started to relax a bit. I wish I had some magical words to make you not worry, but really, only time will begin to help you feel more comfortable.

There really is no way of calming your fears, after 2 losses I was a wreck this time. I still get worried from time to time, but overall I am doing better. Just take 1 day at a time. It does get better with time, eventually I did stop checking the TP every time I pee'd. Chat Icon

Having gone through this myself....it's time. Each passing week...each passing test and sono makes it easier but you always worry. Just try really hard to not let it consume you because you don't need the added the stress...neither does your little one.

Re: Please help me to calm my nerves down

totally normal to be sleepy. i was completely wiped out all the time in the beginning. just keep in mind that the more you worry about it, the more stress you are putting on yourself and the baby, so try as much as you can to not worry and to de-stress if you can.
