PSA - Instead of stocking up on diapers
This is my semi-annual suggestion about stocking up on diapers  . I post this from time to time and it gets a good reaction, so I like to share the thought....
Instead of stocking up on diapers when you don't know what size and quantity you will actually need..... stock up on GIFT CARDS instead!
Everytime I go to the supermarket or Target, I buy myself a $10 gift card. The $10 today doesn't hit my wallet so hard and I have a few saved up. So, by the time the baby comes, I will have $100-$200 in gift cards that I can buy diapers with. The cost just doesn't seem so hard later on.

I like that idea because you never know how fast the baby is going to grow and how much of what size you'll need..

that's an awesome idea!! i was wondering how many boxes of swaddlers and size 1 i would have to buy.. lolol.. good thinking with the gift card!

Where were you 6 months ago?
I wish I'd seen you post this then. I haven't purchased diapers, but this is a great idea. I didn't purchase diapers because I knew how it was with DS...I ended up with a few boxes of diapers in wrong sizes that I couldn't return.

We did this with Emmy and are doing it with DS to be as well. We used the cards as needed for whatever we needed for her. Right now we are buying BRU gc's so in the Spring we can buy a REALLY nice double jogging stroller and those are  but we have months and $50 a pay period is a nice chunk for it. Plus we can use it for whatever we need too! GREAT psa!!
