Burning ache across top of stomach

For the past week I am having these off and on burning senstion ache type pains at the very top of my stomach. I am thinking it's from my skin strectching..but I am really very uncomfortable. I am 22 weeks. I have read that most women experience this later on. Is this normal?

i was having those pains since early on too, now im 37 wks. Its kind of like right under your bra line and to like the top of you stomach right? It always felt like stretching/burning... super uncomfortable. I dont think its anything to worry about though, I have been carrying high this whole time so I attributed it to that.

Dana - Yes, that is exactly where the pain is located and exactly how it feels. I al carrying high right now..I was thinking of putting a cold pack on the area bc it feels very inflammed. Should I not do that and just add cold paper towels? I

OH god I remember that with DD and it sucked. I had it early and the remaining of my pregnancy. Not sure what causes it.

I thought because all our organs do get moved around from our uterus moving up. I had it for maybe 15 minutes then it went away. It actually woke me up out of a sleep one night.
