This is really happening!!!!!

So yesterday I replied to a post saying how it has not hit me yet... Well let me tell you it hit me last night like a mactruck!!!!!

We went to look at baby furniture and since we are we were undecided on the color. The guy was extremely helpful and told us to place an order for both and when the baby is born call and say what we had and he will cancel the one order and have the other order delivered! At that point we will have the furniture delivered within 6 days. Since the baby is sleeping in a bassinet in the beginning this worked out perfectly! Now we will have off white for a girl and chestnut for a boy!!!!!! We are going next week to finalize the order.


Anyway, ever since we left the store my brain has not stopped! I am on like no sleep!!! All I can think about is picking the boy bedding and girl bedding! Not to mention we still need to clean out the baby's room I am also thinking how I really need to start cleaning out my closet to make room for DH (he was using the closet in the spare room). I have no clue where the heck I am going to put everything!

The wheels in my head have not stopped!!! I guess it finally hit me, so it's probably all down hill from here and I am going to drive DH crazy for the next 4 months

Time to start nesting! So glad that you made furniture choices. I hope that you feel good and emjoy the next 4 months!

You will find that time goes by SO fast!!! I am already at 35 weeks and we are moving next weekend. That won't give me much time to prepare for baby. I think that I am hoping that somehow everything will fall into place!
It is such an exciting time! Enjoy every moment!

This is when it hit me also!! Standing over cribs and deciding which one we wanted and than WHAM it was like holy crap there is going to be a BABY in this soon!

Im now 35 weeks my shower is tomorrow and than furniture delivery the next week!!!..Its crazy!

I had this realization earlier this week. I'm 23w with twins and most of their room is set up at least cribs, paint, closet, all registered, shower #1 is 7/30, shower #2 is the following weekend. All of this and I'm still calm. It was the first time they were kicking me at the same time that I freaked out a little and came to terms that we will have 2 babies in 3 to 3.5 months.

We are setting up the nursery and it is TOTALLY making it feel more feel. That and the fact that DS is moving around my belly and I can feel arms, legs etc
