I'm beginning to wonder when my shower can possibly be happening???

I am 35 weeks... Due Apr 3 - I know DH took my invite list, but I left some extra addresses for him and its still on our coffee table...

We have nothing planned for the next few wknds at all... For my wedding shower, we had something planned that wound up being my shower....

I'm sure since we don't have plans, DH will ask me to go somewhere with him, and voila - I'll wind up at my shower... but I'm just curious when it can be - its not like we have a lot of time on our hands anymore....

Anyone having a shower so late in their pregnancy? Or know of people who have done it so late? Just curious....

me... mine is not until March 18th due april 27, only bc my sister lives in hawaii and can only come home then.... if i did not know when it was i would be freaking out! i know u must be, but it should be soon!!

Thats the thing - at least you know yours is soon, and still its over a month until you are due....

Very hard for a control freak not to know these things!!!

soon Liza soon, hahaha i said to my mom today can we go and get decorations and things and she was like no, it can wait... i hate haveing no control over getting things done for it, but i guess being a control freak is not good?

I am due May 3rd and my shower is April 14th. I will be 37 weeks, 3 days

Apparently, there were a lot of family conflicts and Easter that pushed it back that late.

I'm sure yours will be in the next two weeks.

My was last Saturday when I was 36 weeks to the day.

Do you want or does DH want it to be a surprise? Can you just ask him?

Do you ahve any ideas about where it might be? Familys house? Restuarant? I would think no to a resturant as its too close to book anything I think.

I think maybe You should ask him and push him on it. you dont want him to send out an invite a week before a shower for you ya know?

This is probably really bad advice, but check your registry and see if things are being bought. If they are, then your shower is probably coming up. Not that I would ever check my registry or anything.

Hmmm. . . . That's strange. My babies r us registry was down briefly today. Maybe something is up with the computer system there?

He might have used the list and sent out the invites and is just playing with you. I knew the date of my shower and I was freaking out the invites hadn't gone out yet because my family hadn't asked for an updated address list. Turns out they had gone through everything and done it and I didn't know.

I'm a control freak too and that's why I begged to know the date. Even if they hadn't told me, I would have weasled it out of DH. Do you really want to be surprised, or are you going to stress about it. Not worth stressing over if he'll just tell you. I'm sure it's soon!

well, i'll be 33-34 weeks...and only because i insisted on it being no later than that. they wanted to do it later. may is a super busy month in our family as is...i could NOT have a shower going on as well. [there are already about 5 birthdays 1 being our daughter's] plus now that i might be induced early to prevent the risk of not making to the hospital, i'm really glad i insisted on April not May! don't sweat it...it will happen and it will be nice.

I had my shower at almost 36 weeks! I told my aunt who planned it, she was lucky that I didnt go early.
Now, I have had my shower, DH had his shower at work, we went to buybuybaby on saturday and bought a lot of stuff with the gift cards and things we got duplicates of.
One thing I am so glad that I did was to not buy any clothes on my own.
It seems that no matter what we got from everyone, it always included and outfit or onsie. We have SO many clothes I am going to have to have in home fashion shows just to make sure she gets to wear it all
