so paranoid!
I am a few days over 12 weeks and I am so paranoid not knowing how the baby is doing. I was used to getting a sono every week with my RE. Now it's monthly. I am constantly googling signs of miscarriage. It's crazy!

Re: so paranoid!
Relax! everything is fine. i too got spoiled with sonos every week. I went for blood yesterday and was so close to begging for a sono. I dont get another one for 2 weeks! I loved the constant reassurance.

Re: so paranoid!
You can always get a heartbeat monitor? I used one with all 3 kids starting at 8.5w. I LOVED it!!! I listened in the morning before work and at night. I rented one.

Re: so paranoid!
I remember being the same exact way. I too went from a sono every week from 4 weeks to 8 weeks with my RE. That 4 week wait between 8 and 12 weeks was TORTURE! I was a googler too. It's not the best idea so try not to (easier said than done I know). It will get better though. Soon you will feel your LO move and it will be a reassurance that he or she is doing well. And then you get to obsess over whether or not he/she is moving enough - .

Re: so paranoid!
I completely understand how you feel, the first trimester was the worst. Don't you go for your Level I soon?
As ridiculous as this sounds, there's nothing you can really do except to try and relax as much as possible (I know, impossible, I felt the same way). Is your OB responsive to your anxiety? If your OB and insurance allow for it, perhaps you could go more often then normal to put your mind at ease.
ETA: I got one of the hb monitors from amazon - it was only $25 and it made me feel a lot better in the beginning. Just make sure you're finding the baby's HB and not your own (yours is slower, the babies is very fast, you can definitely tell the difference).
