I swear...I'm so panic stricken that she's not getting enough protein or veggies or drinking enough milk.

She's doing ok with the sippy in the afternoon, but we're still doing a bottle in the AM and at bedtime.

Breakfast includes fruit
Lunch is USUALLY protein, veggies, fruit (sometimes I slack and give her toast w/ cheese or mini pizzas or mac n cheese w. veggies)
Dinner is protein, veggies, fruit

sometimes I throw in some graham crackers for dessert.

And normally, she's not AWAKE long enough to fit a snacktime in there.....seriously. Is this kid supposed to be eating every 1 1/2 hours or something??

I just make sure that I feed Noah whatever I would eat...and I know that if he starts throwing his food on the floor, he is full. So I don't worry about it. The kid is starting to turn into a porker, so I don't worry about it!

I am sure if she is still alive, you are feeding her enough!!

Lately I can barely get any veggies in DD b/c she stopped eating baby food and is not thrilled with real people veggies... So I basically have to give her veggie burgers and hope she eats the whole thing.
I'm sure Aly is fineChat Icon

Sounds like way more than my kid eats. She drinks one sippy cup of milk a day if I'm lucky. The rest is water.
She eats no vegetable but a ton of fruit.
There are many days she eats no meat or protein except what's in yogurt.
She does like beans so we've been giving her a lot of those.
I wouldn't worry. If they're starving they'll let you know.

I am sure that Emily is not getting a completely "balanced" diet. She loves fruit and does like brocolli, peas, and corn a lot so I try to give them to her every day, but it's hit and miss on whether or not she'll eat them or at least finish them. A lot of times she just takes a few bites of a lot of different things.

I am sure though that Ali is doing fine becuase she is growing and gaining, right? Just keep offering her a variety of foods and she'll be OK!

I dont know how you can be so obsessed and stay sane. Kids have a mind of their own. Ryan hasnt touched a vegetable in eons, but he LOVES fruit and the pediatrician said that was fine.

He doesnt drink milk, but loves yogurt and cheese.

I cant get stressed about the specifics of it or I would be an unhappy mom with a very unhappy child

I also have a thing about Benji always having some kind of meat or fish for dinner. Usually it's chicken, but I also do baked fish or fish nuggets, beef burgers on rare occasions.

For breakfast I always do some kind of fruit: he loves bananas and blueberries especially. I offer apples and pears for snack in the afternoon and he usually likes them but in the past two weeks he hasn't been into either.

For lunch I always do veggies: mixed veggie soup, leek and cauliflowers soup, baked sweet potato with sour cream etc. Sometimes it's just yogurt and a string of mozarella cheese instead though.

He drinks his milk after every meal. Loves it, can't live without it!

I'm sure Aly is fine.. she was always a good eater. Jacob hardly eats.. ANYTHING.. EVER! So picky he is. most days he'll eat breakfast, still cereal with fruit (bo-ring) but i've tried other stuff and he spits it out. Sometimes he doesnt eat lunch at all. Just will not open his mouth, and turns his head from side to side. Dinner is usually another baby food like chicken noodle dinner or vegetable beef dinnner and fruit and a graham cracker.

Still having "big people food" issues with him.. chews it and spits it out. Drinks water or juice from a sippy "sometimes" during the day. Milk bottle in the AM, for his one nap and bedtime. I have a definite eating dilemma on my hands with him. Then again i am a picky eater so i guess thats where it comes from!Chat Icon
