Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
I know so many people who don't even use theres but we use ours EVERY night. I don't know what I would have done without it! I would love to purchase another one for the twins but they really are pricey, for me it was totally worth it!

Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
Honestly you can save a lot of money if you look in the right places. I got one off of amazon and the same one is almost double in the store. I couldn't see spending $700 on a chair either. I found one much much cheaper!!!

Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
I use my glider every single night and sometimes during the day
but i dont see a difference btw that and a rocking chair - just get some nice comfy pads to put on it!

For me it is a must - We bought a fully upolstered glider that looks like 'real' furniture which I love and it is SO comfortable.
I didn't want one and DH insisted on it. I have used it every single day since my son was born.

Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
I had a glider with DS. Would use it once he started STTN at around 7 months for his last nursing session before bed.
After he weaned I changed the BF session to a book. But still used it every night and before each nap.
Glider/Rocking chair - wouldn't make a difference to me. Just somewhere to sit with him is all I needed.

this is what we will be getting - that way when we are done with it, it can be a piece of furniture somewhere else

Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
I got mine for free from a family friend and let me tell you it is AMAZING! I have difficulty sleeping comfortable and as soon as I sit in the glider, I pass right out.. It's so comfortable and honestly if I didnt get it for free, i would still spend the money to buy one!!

This is what we got and it just came in yesterday. I've been sitting in it every free second I have!

Re: BTDT Mama's: Is a glider a must?
I've been having problems getting comfortable lately, and DH was like hey we just got the glider, why don't you sit there and see if you can sit comfortably. Well last night I got a full 8 hours of the best sleep I've had in weeks! I passed out in the glider and DH left me there because I looked so comfortable.
