Anyone not willing to buy anything for themselves?
Money is tight..even the smallest thing I ponder too long and eventually don't buy.
I think I'm having the buying blues.
I get all of these emails from the stores I like with great sales but I don't have the balls to pull the trigger.
I really don't "need" anything. Yes, I would like to update my wardrobe a bit and some stuff is worn and warrants replacing but I just want to hold onto what money we have.
I'm a bit shell shocked from last year when DH lost his job and I've been in that mode ever since. My way of thinking about spending has changed dramatically.
Anyone with me?

Money is tight for us too right now, but I am for the most part always pretty frugal.
I never really go overboard anytime of the year. I don't spend a lot of money on clothes in general and shop at discount stores when I do.

I don't buy anything because I am preggo and have maternity clothes. Quite honostly though, I prefer shopping for the house anyway and I do lots of that!

I know it will all get better but our savings was so depleted from him being UE and then I couldn't find a tenant for our condo for almost 10 months and that killed things also.
With the economy still in the sh!tter I'm finding it hard to spend.

I tend not to buy much for myself. I would prefer to put the money towards my kids and things they need and activities.
This weekend I did go to Old Navy and buy myself some things on Thanksgiving. I told DH for Christmas to get me a new jacket and he said I should just go out and get one now. I told him I can wait...I almost feel guilty sometimes buying something for myself

Im in the same boat. Just had a party and now we need to get on savings mode...I 2 have been getting all the sale emails... drives me nuts
