When do u start decorating for holidays?

How many days, weeks or months do you start decorating your home. Does it differ for different holiday's?

we only decorate for xmas, and its usually the weekend after thanksgiving.

I put up fall decor after labor day. I put up hanukkah decor after thanksgiving. I don't decorate seasonally the rest of the year though.

We start for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving also. We really don't decorate any other time of year, but we go ALL out for Christmas.

The more lights, the more presents Santa brings!!!

Different holidays have diff times for set up.

Xmas set up is first weekend in Dec.

I also set up fall decorations in Oct for Halloween and then change them for T-Day in November. I have decorations for Easter, V-Day and St. patrick's Day, but those are usually only up for a few weeks.

We start Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.

Halloween & fall decorations usually go out mid-September. Thanksgiving just gets mixed up in there right after Halloween.

Then I have winter decorations and I mix in Valentine's Day. Then the Easter decorations, and then I have a few that I leave out for the summer season.

Oct. 1st my Fall and Halloween decorations go up. Nov. 1st Halloween stuff comes down and Thanksgiving stuff goes up. The weekend of Thanksgiving I'll take down those specific decorations but leave up any Fall stuff until about Dec. 1st which is when I started decorating for Christmas. After New Year's we take our tree and decorations down and I have winter/snowflake decorations around the house. February 1st Valentine's day stuff gets added then removed after that day. Mar. 1st St. Patty's day decor is up, then spring and easter. I have decorations for each holiday including 4th of July. I love decorating. I feel like my house is so bare since there is nothing in the summer!

For the Fall I just decorate with Fall colors. Start around mid-late September & keep up until after Thanksgiving.

Christmas we start decorating around last week in November or 1st week in December.

I don't decorate for other holidays.

It depends what holiday it is... Halloween & Christmas usually a couple weeks before...

I'm always in Vegas for Thanksgiving so I dont even have any decorations... lol

Everything else probably a week or so before.

I decorate for Halloween in early October, Thanksgiving in early November and Christmas I start decorating Thanksgiving weekend.

I put up a couple things for Halloween-around the second week of October. It's more harvest-y type stuff and stays up through Thanksgiving.

I put up Christmas stuff about 3 weeks before the holiday. They stay up until new years day.

I put up a couple little things for Easter, probably the week before.

Mid September for fall decor...add in Halloween usually right after our anniversary (oct 7). Remove Halloween and add Thanksgiving Nov 1 (or first week of Nov).

Then Christmas comes out between the weekend after Thanksgiving and the first weekend in December. That stays until after New Years.

I put up my fall decorations in september. No set date; just when i feel like getting around to it. I switch to my Christmas decorations right after thanksgiving; and they stay up until beginning of January.

Before black Friday I am DONE Christmas SHoppinh. On that day I decorate.

in general usually at the start of whatever month the holiday is in.

usually the first day of the month the holiday is in (since most I decorate for are later in the month) because I cant wait
