Lights for over kitchen island
That is a pic of the kitchen - we have recessed lighting to the right (not in pic, that is where our kitchen table is) and a simple light fixture). I want to put a fancy light over the island. the island flows into the DR which is a dark tan w/ wood floors.
any suggestions???

oh nice suggestions, I wouldn't have thought of any of those!! I have a chrystal chandelir in my entryway so that would be a nice match

We just ordered this for above our 4 person island. I am a little more tradtional then you though.
You can do a search on island lighting and also billard lighting to get some nice ideas  The above light came up as a "billard" light which I was kinda surprised at....
