Monday QOTD

Happy Monday!!

What are the sports/activities you want to have your DC to be a part of when they are little (and dont necessarily have a choice in) lol

Theres so many things I want them to try and see if they like. I know they cant do them all or want to do them all but I would like them to try.
If I have a I would love for him to be in Tball and soccer and swimming. I always wanted to be a soccer Mom :) and maybe Karate. I also want them to take piano lessons as soon as they can.

If I have a I would love to put her in dance class, ballet, tap, jazz....and the sports too. soccer swimming, piano. I think its important to have them active and socialize in a good environment while learning to work as a team player. I loved playing sports when I was growing up!

For a I'd love for him to play football. For a dance, gymnastics or cheerleading.

Since DH played soccer and hockey im sure he'd want to play....and if its a - defiantely football! She can live my dream for me since i didnt have that opportunity growing up lol!

Both or baseball (softball) or lacrosse and basketball
football
irish dancing, ballet, cheerleading

either or will definatley take up greek cultural dance as my DH's family have all done

I would never stop my DC from trying something but I would be really hesitant on them being involved in Football.

I would also love for both to take an interest in a musical instrument.

I really want my children to do the activities that make them happy and not force them into anything. I'd love for my to play sports, but if it's not his thing, we'll find something that is.

For my , I'd like to enroll her in dance AND sports, so she can experience both. Growing up I was a cheerleader and dancer and I always felt like some of the girls who played sports had higher self-esteem and a lot less body issues than the girls on my team (myself included). Obviously, this is not across the board and just my observation, but I think there can be a lot of emphasis on "how you look" with performance activities, but with sports it's more "what your body can do." JMO.

I would want both of them to be in some kind of sports as well as piano or some other kind of musical instrument. Also scouts for both.
And for dance.

If our kids take after me, they're going to spend a lot of time on the bench, lol. I was definitely the girl that ducked from the volleyball in HS gym.

Well hopefully our DC will take from us our athletic abilities. DH ran track and I played basketball. I intend to throw them into just about every sport and go from there.
