not sure how to feel...

I'm officially in the 2WW..got my smiley Tuesday morning, so we BD Tues, Wed, Thurs, taking tonight off, then will plan to BD one more time tomorrow for luck..
This is only our 2nd month TTC, but it already feels so different than the first... I was pretty naive and even though I knew what the odds were I really got my hopes up and started POAS 8DPO and felt really sad when AF came..
this time I am really coming at it from a different approach, not really expecting BFP, especially since I O'd late - CD24, to best of my knowledge, I'm sure due to a stressful month at work. I'm not giving up, but I'm going to assume a BFN just so I'm not too disappointed. I'm also really, really going to try not to POAS for at least 2 weeks.. right now it doesnt sound too hard but I'm sure I will get tempted as more time goes by...

Anyway, not sure why I'm posting, just wanted to put an update out there, see if anyone else is feeling/has felt the same way

I totally know how you feel. The first month or two I was so excited and thought it would just happen! I POAS a ton and kept getting BFN. As the months go on as I enter the the 2ww I try not to get my hopes up but I always end up thinking I'm pregnant. I try to tell myself it is not the norm for it to happen on the first or second try and that it takes alot of people a couple of months. I was stressing myself out so much with OPK that it was making my cycle even longer. This month I just did a "wing" it month...BFN but totally less stressfull. Hang in there it will happen!

I think we all feel like that from time to time, just try and be positive!

Hopefully the time will come soon for all of us!

I know how you feel, too. I'm 1dpo today. After several months of this, I have like zero expectations. Of course, I'm hoping and for a BFP, but still, it's hard to get my hopes up. I also have an LPD--progesterone starts plummeting after 7dpo. Dr said it might fix itself (could be bcp-related, 8 months later!), but suggested I go on a super-low dose of clomid after this cycle. SO part of me is already thinking about next cycle and counting myself out this cycle.

I do hope I'm wrong though! And I hope all of us get a BFP this month!
