Stopping Loestrin 24 FE
Hi girls. We're not TTC yet (hopefully by the summer) but I have a question. I went off of bc (loestrin) last month and yesterday I had cramps as if I was getting my period. I thought that was strange since everyone I know has taken a while before they get their period the first month. So far I have still not gotten my period though.
If you went off Loestrin, how long did it take for you to get your first period? Thanks in advance!

I'm not TTC but I'm on Loestrin 24 FE and sometimes if I miss a pill (forget to take it one night) I bleed for a 4 OR 5 DAYS in the middle of the month. A whole period, in the middle of the month, while I'm still taking the active pills. And then my regular period a week later when I go to the inactive pills at the end of the month. I asked my gyn about it and she said it has something to do with it being low-dose.
So it doesn't surprise me that once you go off the pills you'll bleed really quickly.

I did not take Loestrin, but got my period the week after the active pill. Just like normal. This is my first cycle off.

Not on Loestrin, but I was on a low dose pill. We are waiting to the summer to TTC as well, but I aslo got my period at the normal time right after I went off.

I took Loestrin 24 only for a few months before and one month after my wedding....as soon as I went off it I got my period like clockwork. I was only on it for 3 months bc I was avoiding AF for my wedding but I was shocked at how quick it went back to normal but i wasn't on it very long, I've had a reg period since I went off of it in July.

I was on Loestrin for about 2.5yrs. My first cycle off of it was almost 50 days long
I have PCOS though
