Is it safe to eat raw cookie dough?
I ate a quarter of it and now asking the question  I guess since there's raw eggs in it, that's why.
I think it would be since it's in ice cream raw, right?

I don't think there is raw egg in the cookie dough ice cream. I think there would be an uproar about it if there was. I'm not saying there isn't, just my opinion. My opinion is also to eat as much as possible when I make my own dough anyway which definetely has raw egg in it, so eat up.

I would not at this point, esp after so many people got so ill recently from eating raw Nestle cookie dough with E Coli in it. A fluke, yes but possible. And raw cookie dough does not have pasteurized eggs in it, only cookie dough in the ice cream has pasteurized eggs in it I believe. Regular cookie dough is intended for cooking.

Raw dough with egg in it is as safe as eating raw eggs. Not all cookie dough uses eggs (especially cookie dough ice cream).
Just because you eat raw eggs, doesn't guarantee that you'll get sick. One person can eat dough every day of their life for 80 years, and never have a problem. Someone else can take one bite, and get sick. Past experience doesn't imply "safe" or "unsafe".

so true, one of my favorite desserts has raw eggs!
