Can you recommend your FHA mortage lender?
I would like to search for someone who is easy to work with. I want to know how much my DH and I can afford. Any suggestions?

seth berman of preferred empire mortgage was our mortgage broker....
great to work with and tells you realistically how much you can afford

We used Wells Fargo.....and it was a VERY painful process!!!

we have been working with Band of America so far and are very happy - but we have only gone through the pre-approval "process," we will be officially applying this week.
but our loan officer was/is constantly calling to check up on how the contracts were coming along and offering to help, so we are pleased so far!

agreed. I would never recommend them to anyone...although it could have just been our contact person that was hard to deal with.

We are using Angela Reese, I don't have her phone# with me now.. but she works with Continental Home Loans...
She is GREAT! She is very well known in the industry and ALWAYS available for questions... morning noon and night! No complaints and the process has been very smooth.
