DH and I actually haven't had many weekend getaways. While I was in school we both lived with our parents and we would visit each other for an entire weekend while we were dating. When I got engaged at 22, we started saving money for the wedding. So with that said....
What was your favorite WEEKEND GETAWAY?
Disney this passed May.

Without DH
Who did you go with?
My girlfriends from work
What did you do and where did you stay?
It was a nursing conference so we went to that, out for dinner, drinks and dancing at the boardwalk, and hung out at the pool of saratoga springs.

I would like to do a weekend Getaway soon. Last time we went to CT and Boston for a night each. It was nice to be away from home for that short time.
Disney with the Girls sounds fun!

What did you do and where did you stay?
It was our first vacation the summer after FM year. My parents stopped talking to me when they found out I was going so I knew I had to make it good and WORTH IT LOL
We stayed at a cheap motel just off the boardwalk and just walked the boardwalk every day, ate at lots of those little stands and relaxed! We had a really great time and it was totally worth my parents not talking to me for the weeks after LOL!

What was your favorite WEEKEND GETAWAY? The first time DH and I went someplace- that was Lancaster PA.

Who did you go with? Just DH
What did you do and where did you stay? We went shopping, went out to eat, saw some sights. We had fun! We stayed at a Hotel in the heart of Lancaster.

My favorite weekend getaway was Montauk with DH. We were dating about 2 years at the time... we rented a boat, walked around town, went horseback riding, had a couple of nice dinners, went to the beach. It was perfect!

I LOVED the B&B DH and I stayed in right after our wedding. We went to the Old Country Inn on Shelter Island for a few days. Beautiful rooms, great little town, and the owner/manager is a doll.

I don't know if I can pick just one.
I go to boston every few months by myself to visit my girls (college friends) and that is always fun.
I also like going to AC with DH for a night and I did really enjoy spending a weekend with DH (before we were married) in Mystic, CT and going to the little town and aquarium!

Who did you go with?
About 13 of us went - friends from work and real life
What did you do and where did you stay?
Drank A LOT of beer, played awesome games of flip cup, slept with guys who didn't shower the whole weekend (us four girls all showered), then rode home with them in a van (the stinkiest van EVER), and of course went white water rafting!!!
We stayed at Jim Thorpe Camping Resort.
Disclaimer - when I say slept with stinky guys - I mean sleeping in the same cabin - not sexual.

Sounds strange but my favorite was actually my first birthday that i was dating dh.

What did you do and where did you stay? We stayed at a Marriott, drank wine and champagne, went to nice restaurants, wandered around the city, went to the bridge in central park nice and late at night and just sat and talked all night.
ETA: Although we are going away for our anniversary this weekend so that may take the winning vote lol

My friend, Casey, who is married to DH's friend. Her sisters were coaching a lacrosse camp at a local college
What did you do and where did you stay?
We stayed at an Econolodge just outside of Newport (much cheaper) We went to all of the mansions, went to the beach, did the Cliff Walk and went to cute restaurants.

EVERY summer we say we're doing this and every summer we can't for some reason. Guess we're not going this year either.
