Do we get any other updates after retrieval besides fertilization?
I was told I would be called the day before transfer, but I was hoping for additional information regarding the current state of my embryos. Any ideas?

That sounds totally normal.
I think they like to just leave them alone for the most part and let them grow undisturbed, then check on day 3 to see if you'll have a transfer that day or on day 5.

I didn't hear anything until Day 3 when they called and said we were getting pushed to blast. That's all the nurse said though so I called and spoke to my doctor the next day for a more thorough Day 3 report. When we went in on Day 5 he told us everything up to that point as well.

The next information you get will be on the transfer day. They will let you know how many made it, quality, and how many are left to freeze if any. I know it's hard to wait but hang in there.

I just called embryology and they said all nine are doing fine!!!
