Burned on Ebay - WWYD?
So...I ordered a cute Burberry dress for DD on ebay. The description said it was worn a lot but still in great condition. The picture also was very nice.
I got the dress yesterday and it is a piece of crap. It looks like it's been washed at least 50 times and it's pilling all over the place. She should be embarrassed for selling such a piece of garbage and I would never put DD in it.
I sent the seller an email saying that I was writing to her before leaving negative feedback. I explained that her picture was not representative of what I received and that I was very disappointed and her description did not say it was pilling.
I sent the email last night at 6pm, I haven't heard back yet. She has a 100% rating and I paid $30. Should I wait a little longer or just leave negative feedback??

I would wait just a little longer. If she has 100% feedback, chances are the seller stands behind what they sell, so if your not satisfied you can (hopefully) get your money back.
Good luck.

i'm assuming it says no returns..but wait a little longer, maybe she'll let you return, if not i would leave neg feedback and if you paid with paypal you can file a dispute and they can hold the funds..

Yeah, I agree with the pp. I would wait a few days before leaving neg. feedback. As a ebay seller I know that they have made some changes to the feedback policy that is not in favor with the seller. You have the upper hand just wait and hear back from the seller. Also like pp said you can always get your money back through paypal.

I would wait a few days before doing anything further. Especially being the weekend.

Definitely wait it out. My first eBay experience was like that a long time ago. And, I wished I waited an extra day because they totally took care of the situation.

I would wait another day and then leave her a negative feedback. Hopefully she returns your message. I saw the dress you posted on Parenting...very cute! Too bad it's not wearable

Honestly, it wasn't even 24 hours from the time you sent the email to her to the time you posted this. I think it's unreasonable to expect a response that quickly. If you paid with paypal, I would file a dispute with them for a refund and see if she obliges before leaving a negative feedback.
