eBay Sellers - WWYD
Here is the situation:
I sold a pair of jeans and the buyer was not happy
I don't accept returns, but I told her to return them to me and I would refund her the price of the item + return shipping costs
She sent the jeans back, but added INSURANCE and DELIVERY CONFIRMATION to the shipment. I didn't tell her to add these options which increased the cost of the return shipping. Regular cost = $6.46 Cost of this shipment = $10.05
Do I just refund her $6.46 for the shipment or the $10.05?

I would personally refund the whole thing and be done. Sounds so aggravating but to keep the peace 4.00 is worth it.

getting good feedback is worth at least $3.59 to me
I wouldn't risk it- and I understand why she would add at least delivery confirmation- insurace on jeans is a bit silly- but she wanted to protect herself I guess

why did she return the jeans? If it was bc they didnt fit or she didnt like them (not because of faulty or missrepresented merchandise) then I probably wouldnt give her the extra cash and I'd just be upfront.
If the merch was messed up or you missed a stain or something, i'd refund the full amount as a sign of good will

I would refund her the full amount and for your future auctions I would say "please ask all questions before bidding as I do not accept returns" but I would also add "all items are guaranteed authentic or your money back"

I would just suck it up and refund her fully for the shipping. It's just not worth the aggravation she can cause if you don't.
