so i was expecting AF today...

no AF

i am 12 DPO...last month (which was my first month using OPK's) i got AF 12 DPO....so i kinda thought i would get it again at 12 DPO...also, does that mean my luteal phase is 12 days?

i am thinking maybe tomorrow i will get AF, it sorta feels like she is on her way....although hoping she dosn't show!! i am planning to wait till sat. to test!

ETA: i am also CD 27...my cycles are usually anywhere from 26-29 days latest. usually about 27-28 days...

edited again....ok i was wrong...i am really CD28 and 12DPO....i am thinking i can test soon but i want to wait it out, i'd rather see AF then get a negative!

Hold off as long as you can. I think AF is always better then no line. But hopefully she won't arrive at all!

I think you can test at 12 DPO-as long as you won't be crushed at the possibility of a BFN.

I test a lot and I test earlier than most. However, I don't go into testing thinking it will be a BFP. I go in with the mind set that it is probably too early to test and just because it says BFN doesn't mean tomorrow's test can't be a BFP.

Sure it stings to get an early BFN but it doesn't kill me because I leave myself the hope of the next test.

I think if you got AF on 12DPO then your luteal phase would actually only be 11 days but I'm not exactly sure how it is counted.

If you'd rather wait it out, then test on saturday or sunday. I could never wait that long...I always tested early.
