We've been buying the Bertolli jar of vodka sauce lately & it's pretty good! MUCH better than the other ones that we tried...Now I want some lol

De - do you use your timeshare every year? And do you trade it a lot?
My dh's parents have 2 and they trade 1 of them every year, but barely use (or trade) the other...
I like the idea & it's something that we may consider further down the line, but I'm curious about how much use they really get with 30-somethings...i
we bank it if we dont use it.. then just go the following year for maybe 2 weeks in a row instead of one..
i LOVE it.. its a Marriott timeshare in Orlando.

It's the easiest thing ever - this is my shortcut version:
Sautee 3 cloves of fresh minced garlic in olive oil for about 1 minute. Add a 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes. Stir in some chopped fresh basil, salt, and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes. Add 1/4 cup vodka and simmer for 15 more minutes. Then add 1 pint of heavy cream (if you like it very light... or you can use as much as you like to get a good coloring of the sauce) and simmer for 10 more minutes. That's it!

Oh and you MUST serve it with this garlic bread - I could eat a whole loaf:
Preheat oven to 350. Take 6 cloves of garlic and put them in your food processor or mini prep until minced. Add parsley (1/4 cupish) salt & pepper and pulse until chopped. Heat about 1/2 cup of olive oil and saute garlic mixture in it, then remove from heat. Slice ciabatta bread (YES, use ciabatta!) in half horizontally and spread the butter on it, then spread garlic mixture on top. Put the loaf back together and wrap in tinfoil. Bake for 5 minutes, then open the foil and bake for 5 more minutes.
It's the best

I was hungry to begin with and now I am hungrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry!!!!!!
Went to the OB today. I was concerned about my pre AF spotting. She did some cultures on me and I am going back for her to test me on CD21! Is it sad that I look forward to going to the OB now?
