High Chair- is this too much money

I found a PegPerego High Chair in BBB that I liked, but it is about $265.00. Is that nuts for a high chair?
Honest opinions please.
It is the PegPErego prima Pappa High chair
TIA

if it was something that could be used for many, many years...i'd say yes - WOO HOO... The reason i think it's pricey is because it's one of those limited time usage things - ya know??

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

yes, that is way too expensive. JMO. That's over $100 over what most highchairs go for. We got a graco contempo for $80.

I think it's too much, but I can be quite frugal at times. I think you could find something else you'd like for much cheaper!

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

It can't hurt to put it on your registry and if no one gets it you can use gift cards to put toward it. Thats what I am doing with my bedding.

I think that is too much for a High Chair. JMO. Mine wasn't over $100 and it was great. They are basically all the same except for the design, colors, etc.

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

I registered for the svan because I didn't like any of the other high chairs and it is $239 so in my opinion I don't think it is that much. I wasn't really inot any of the patterns and someone that just had twins has the same high chair and loves them. I also liked that it was made of wood not plastic.

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

Yes, I find it pretty expensive. I loved the Peg Perego high chairs, but I didn't love the price. I registered for a Chicco high chair. I'm not into the cute pattern high chairs, so I thought the Chicco was the best bet, and it wasn't extremely expensive.

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

It depends on your budget. If you can afford it,and you like it, go for it. Personally, I can't afford that, and I feel uncomfortable registering for too many $$$ items. One or two pricey items are okay bc a group of people may go in and get them, but too many makes people seem a little greedy IMHO. But, like I said, if you are buying it, or you have a lot of relatives who are planning on spending a decent amount of money, put it on your registry. Chat Icon

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

In my opinion, absolutely positively too much $. Ours was $89 or $99 (can't remember) and every single person who comes into my house raves about the comfort and the stow-away feature.

Unless it comes with a little man to feed your DC as well Chat Icon

i have the prima papa also, in the bacl leatherette. my son is going ot be 6, and the baby is 14 months. we've had this thing in our kitchen for over 5 years now. well worth the money, and it blends into our color scheme perfectly.

worth the money if you will be using it for a few years and it matches the kitchen.

Re: High Chair- is this too much money

Personally, I would never spend that kind of $$ on a high-chair. I have friends who have that high-chair and it really isn't any better than much cheaper versions.

It's up to ypu, but, believe me, there's tons of great baby gear out there and I would rather put my $$ toward those things than an over-priced high-chair.

What is it that you like about it so much? Find out and see if you can find those features in another high-chair. I bet you can!
