confused about O
cd1 was Dec 18- CD-13 EWCM and got ovarian pain. CD 26- last day of Cycle.
I was reading on other posts that if you see EWCM you can O up to 5 days later . I though I O'd on the 13? Why do I not get this. Can anyone help me with trying to figure this out.

I would say the only true way to know when you O is to use OPK's. Yes, EWCM is a sign of O but it can come several days before O. Is that your confusion? Is today your first day of AF?

yesterday was my first day for AF. I thought you Oed 13-48 hours after you saw EWCM. This is what is confusing me. I am going to start charting BBT this month also and I guess I will look into OPK. If I use the OPK it tells you when you are Oing or about to O of after you O?

I'm not really sure what you're asking.
EWCM can be seen as early as 5 days before O, but more commonly 2-3 days before O. Usually on the day you actually ovulate, you may not have EWCM.

We posted at the same time... sorry!
There's definitely no specific timeline for EWCM and ovulation.
When you use OPKs, they tell you that you'll ovulate within 24-36 hours.
I'd definitely try OPKs before temping - they are much simpler!

Thank you for the info. Was a bit confused this month expecially with my cycle so short. I will look into the OPK.
