Is this normal? Feel like you have to pee, but then don't?
I'm 8W, and have been feeling like I constantly have to pee, but then when I do, it's not like I really have to go.
Is this normal? I was thinking it might be a UTI, but it's not painful, and I remember my doctor saying that the growth of the uterus may push against the bladder.

Totally normal. I wake up 6-7 times a night to pee. You would think that my bladder was going to explode from the pressure but I do it's like a little itty bitty tinkle.

Thanks so much! The same EXACT thing happens to me at night, and then when I do get up, it's like nothing! So annoying!  I think when I sleep a certain way it really pushes against my bladder too.

Um, congrats!!!
In the beginning, there is more pressure on your bladder as your uterus begins to expand. It's weird that there is not much in there-- but, still pressure can be applied giving you the sensation that you "gotta go". I believe it eases up a bit as everything starts to move up.
I always pee a little since I drink so much water-- it's just a matter of how long I can hold it!

Thanks so much! I was a lurker on TTC and PG, and was going to keep it a secret til the 2nd tri, but I just have so many questions and couldn't keep quiet anymore! We are incredibly excited, and other than some MS and a LOT of exhaustion, I really can't complain!

It's normal. It's just the beginnings of the normal pressure in your lower abdomen. Get used to it!

It gets worse!! I wasn't so bad in the beginning. Now at 23 weeks, I have to pee all the time. I can pee, and then 5-10 minutes later have a strong urge to pee again. Sometimes I go and hardly anything comes out. The joy of pregnancy.

I get this too. I was also worried I had a UTI, but its completely normal.
