Those who temp...

Do you temp orally or vaginally?
This may sound like a crazy question, but do you try to wear the same type of pajamas every night? Meaning--shorts and t-shirt etc. to make sure you are consistant?
I feel like there are so many factors that can affect your temps!

I used to temp orally and I pretty much wore the same type of PJs all of the time.

Re: Those who temp...

I've temped for 8-9 months and I also used to wonder about whether or not what I wear matters. But I've temped through the spring, summer and now fall. I've worn shorts, pants, had the air conditioner on, extra blankets and the fan on. None of it matters! My waking temps pre-ovulation are always very similar to each other. My post-ovulation temps were also always similar, only this month they stayed high since I got preggo! I probably don't need to continue temping, but it's such a habit!

And I definitely temp orally. I think any other way would be...difficult...and messy at certain times of the month. Chat Icon

I used to temp orally. Like TeacherGal said, the external factors don't really matter.

I've worn undies and a tank or full out fleece sweatpants, long sleeves, and 2 blankets and it never affected my temps.

The only thing that will make it different is moving around, talking, getting out of bed...
