I just got an egg on the CBEFM a few days ago ion CD 23 and 24 and and I just got AF! ***! Today would have been CD 28.
I guess the spotting a few days ago was AF ready tp come not ovulation bleeding.
Unless the monitor is all screwed up! Even if I ovulated or didn't ovulate at all last month I had a 31 day cycle and this month it was 27 days! I have never had a cycle less than 28 days in my whole life!
I am making an appt on Monday to see the Dr.! I have no idea what is going on with my body!
On to next month! Good luck to you all. I am crying right now!
I am so very sorry. Our bodies can really mess with us, huh. I'm so sad for you.
I had a short cycle a couple of months ago and I'm just as crazy regular as you are...it is confusing when your body does what you least expect. I'm sure you are fine.

edited to add- i wish i knew more about this stuff...it does seems odd that you would get the egg on the monitor and then get AF so soon afterwards isn't AF "supposed" to show up 14 days after O? could it be the monitor? i don't know.....i think it is a good idea that you are calling the dr. though!
The last 2 months have been so strange. I thought I may have had a chemical pregnancy last month. I had spotting 10 DPO for a few days (thought it was inplantation spotting). AF Came..I had a very heavy gross clot filled period on CD 31 (around the time I would have my period).
I have been using the CBEFm for about a year tracking my cycles and always ovulate on CD 15-18. I think once it was strange and I ovulated a little later. This month I didn't get the egg symbol until CD 23 and Cd 24. I spotting a little 2 days later and then got my period. I had a 27 day cycle this month. My average is around 31-32 days, I have never had a cycle this short! If the CBEFM was correct I had a LP of about 4 days ...makes no sense!
I am thinking maybe I really was pregnant last month and if I had a chemical pregnancy my cycles may be screwed up for a little while.
I called the nurse practioner when I was spotting and she said we could do cycle 5 testing. I don't know what that is?
So: I went for blood work at my OBGYN office and they referred me to Reproductive Specialists of NY to go for a consult to see about my messed up cycles! The nurse practioner said there could be all sorts of reasons why my cycles have been messed up... I am over 35, I started working nights and lack of sleep, and it could be the stress of TTC. I hope we can pinpoint what is going on!
I dont know anything about the CBEFM-I am hoping someone on here might be able to shed some light on it for you
