i feel sad and i know i prolly shouldnt

Im feeling kinda of bummed out and i guess it is ok to feel this way. WHY you ask? well sept 4th is approaching and that was supposed to be my original due date with my first pregnancy. Yes i am soo grateful and in love with this child that i am carrying inside me but part of me is just sad still about the first MC. thanks for letting me vent. DH doesnt seem to understand that.

A very wise LIFer once told me that a loss is a loss no matter how and when it happens. I had 2 such losses and when my due dates arrived for those pregnancies, I mourned personally, privately and briefly. I understand and I am sorry.

Its a normal thing to feel........July 17 should have been my dute date from my miscarriage. Feel the feelings and then move on and focus on your little bean growing inside of you!!

i agree with leslie... a loss is a loss, no matter what your current situation. i think it's entirely appropriate to mourn "what could have been"

What you feel is completely normal. DHs don't always get it because they don't physically bond like we do. Like someone told me...once you meet your LO you will know that they were sent to you and if you had the other baby you would not have this one. 9/4 is my EDD too so I will think of you and your little angel that day.

of COURSE you feel sad about the date approaching, there's so much emotion attached to it; DHs don't get it sometimes, even though they try to... And mourning that loss does not diminish the love you have for the little one you're carrying, they're just, well, separate... be welll and let yourself feel what you feel...

Leslie said it the best. I too mourned the due date of my first child. I am so sorry that you are feeling this way, I know how you feel.

I know how you feel. My due date for my mc that I had in Feb. would have been next week. I keep thinking and having thoughts about it. I don't mention it to my DH cuz I don't think he would understand like your DH either.

I had that feeling when I had my first MC too. It was very hard and at first, I said I would never "get over it". It so happens that this year the date came and went (recently) and I didn't even think about it now that I have and a on the way.

I hear ya, I am crying reading this( just got BFP this week) and I had a MC in April. I will definatley mourn the first week in Dec I never really got a due date but I knew around abouts date. Its tough, but mourn and think about DC that you do have and smile!

That is totally understandable and I would probably feel the same way. Hopefully though it's a little easier knowing you have another beautiful little miracle inside of you. Feel better.

I miscarried 2 times. First due date 9/21/06 still think about it 2 years now. Second 2/1/07.
I love DS to pieces but mourn in my own way on those dates.
