i think it is interesting too and i do plan on watching it, however, i have VERY irregular cycles (without metformin) and if i was ever over 60 days with no AF and sexually active, I would take a test and/or call the Dr.

My sister got pregnant with DS#3 while on BCP and when she was 2 weeks late she took a test

I think it will be an interesting show though

supposedly one girl took 2 tests and they were negative. But why only 2 in 9 mths?

I agree with all of you... these women are obviously in some serious denial...

you're telling me they coinicidentally had NO SYMPTOMS at all, all had such irregular cycles that they could miss the period for 9 months, their clothes all still fit the same, and were oblivious enough to ignore the kicking being inside of them Chat Icon

I wonder how their mental blocking processed spontaneous public coversations starting out with 'congratulations! when are you due??!'

ah, but this show DOES sound like good entertainment

I do believe that some heavier women's bodies may not change as much that they would be asked when they are due. The two women they showed were on the heavier side and if they gained only 10-15 lbs, may have thought nothing of it. The dr also pointed out that some women with polycystic ovaries this can happen to, then are often heavier and have irradic cycles. I thought it was so odd until I saw the segment. I do plan on watching it.

I'm pretty overweight and if you take into account the 5 lbs I lost in the first trimester, I gained only 6 lbs as of 29 weeks....

TRUST ME, there are MAJOR architectual changes to my body... and they were obvious immediately. My bras stopped fitting at 3 weeks, and at 9 weeks, I couldn't wear my looser normal jeans becuase the slightest pressure was irritating... and I've been overtly showing for the last 15+ weeks.

Don't believe that excuse.... personally, I think it's impossible that someone doesn't realize the hard giant beachball that is growing out of their belly. flubber is soft and forgiving... it's VERY different.

I can't wait to watch and see...should be very interesting! And yes, I would agree you should at least feel the hardness in the abdomen. Chat Icon

Re: on tv tonight...

I love these kind of shows, but I don't think I have discovery health. I've tried to look for this channel before. Cablevison doesn't offer it, or at least I think.
