This story seriously has me in tears. Its about people who are looking for "surrogate children" and think buying a little monkey (various breeds and sizes) will be the best idea....and how many times years later the monkeys become too much to handle or attack the owners. Usuallly they wind up chopping off the tips of the fingers or removing the teeth---and then eventually they send them to a sanctuary when its too much to handle.
I am so sasd for these animals----and so disgusted that people would purchase this wild animal for their selfish reasons and then give them up when they can't handle that their natural "wild instincts" come thru!!
thank god for the sanctuary that they are showing on here.

I was saddened and disgusted by this. I never really knew about it.
I am so upset that people would TAKE Out their teeth. For God's sake, it's a wild animal, doesn't the need to take out it's teeth give you a freaking clue???? And the man who cut off that monkey's fingers should rot in hell.
This is very very sad. I never knew about it and it broke my heart. Those poor monkeys, being ripped from their mothers. I was so sick over hearing how they are torn from their mothers, and these sick humans get a kick out of how the monkey holds onto them for 6 mths. Maybe b/c it's missing it's mother WHO you RIPPED it from, you greedy idiot.
Just sick and very sad. Broke my heart.
