Re: DOG HELP
Have her crate the dog when she is not home. This will help with housebreaking.
It probably has nothing to do with the dog being a stray...one of my dogs was stray...she was crate trained and is perfect

Re: DOG HELP
Aww the doggie could actually have a UTI, I'd have the vet check for that. No fun for us, OR doggies.
Also she should wash the bedding with an enzyme product; I used one that Drs. Foster & Smith sell online, but any pet store would have Natures Miracle I think to get rid of the urine completely. Poor baby..

Re: DOG HELP
Being a stray is not the issue. The dog is only doing this when noone is home? She's probably just not housebroken correctly. I agree with the other posters...get her a crate and crate train her. A vet check couldn't hurt, but it sounds to me like that's the spot she has picked to go when she has to go and noone is around.

Re: DOG HELP
I just want to add, crate training should be done with care. Tell her to read about crate training. It's important to follow certain rules when crate training, such as not leaving the dog in the crate for more than a certain amt of hours without having someone to let them out to use the bathroom, having access to water, not having a collar on when crating so as not to choke themselves etc. It must be done with concern and care for the animal, please note.

Is the dog still a puppy?? Does he pee pee in his own bed or your friends bed? How long has she had the dog?
