If it's just a small amount and you aren't cramping, it's probably fine. I hope everything is ok.

Re: Spotting at 6 weeks
If it is dark brown blood it is prolly old blood and you are prolly ok. Just try and stay calm (i know it is hard because i have been there) and wait for the doc to call you back. Are you expierencing any cramping?

Re: Spotting at 6 weeks
I had spotting too--right at 5 1/2 weeks. It was bright red and looked life AF. I got really scared, but I went for a beta the next day and everything was ok!
that everything is ok!

Re: Spotting at 6 weeks
ugh.... that's so stressful I've been there... it was bright red spotting one morning when I was 5.5 weeks.
Your Dr. will likely want to monitor this situation... and frankly, I found that very comforting....
lots of for you!!!

Re: Spotting at 6 weeks
There are so many reasons for spotting in early pregnancy. Most are perfectly benign. You can have him check your beta levels 2 days apart and that will tell you if your pregnancy is progressing as it should. I'm sure you are fine. I had brown spotting between 8-11 weeks and everything is going fine
