I'm confused...progesterone suppositories?

When does the RE typically prescribe them? After my IUI my dr. did not prescribe them for me - do you only get them if your levels measure below 10?

Sometimes if they do an endometrial biopsy and find that your progesterone was low, you'll always get suppositories. Many women don't get them at all for IUI. Its IVF that everyone gets them.

You'll get them if your 7DPO test confirms that your levels are below 10. My RE also prescribed them to me as part of my treatment with IUI and injectables, though I don't think that's a ubiquitious practice.

You should go in 7dpiui for a progesterone check and if it is low they will prescribe you progesterone. On my first cycle I started bleeding about a week after and my progesterone was only 1.5 so I get them every time.

I went in for 5dpIUI bloodwork. My level was 18.1, and the dr said I didn't need them.

My progesterone was checked after my IUI and according to dr. brenner was good. However I started spotting on day 10 so this past cycle he prescribed suppositories for progesterone support and for the first cycle in the past 17 I didn't spot before getting my period! Even though I didn't get pregnant this month I was happy that we figured out how to prevent the early spotting!
