Progesterone suppositories???
The dr told me that my progesterone was 14 so they want to put me on suppositories, has anyone used anything natural instead? Can you tell me what effects it had on you, if any?

When I found out I was pregnant, they gave me progesterone suppositories bc it was too low. And I stopped when I lost the pregnancy. I didn't have any side effects. Sorry, I don't have any more info on it.

No real side effects, just wear a pantyliner, it can be messy!

The form of progesterone they give you when you are ttc or pregnant, is 'natural'. It's compounded usually with a cocoa butter type substance, so it can get greasy.
Although I was on the prometrium capsules one month, and they were a pleasure in comparison. So tiny, and no mess !!!

I had to use them to keep from miscarrying.
Gross, yes, but the only side effect I had was that I had a hard time breathing. Even thogh you get out of breath when you are pregnant, the doctor told me it was also one of the side effects that came from the progestrogen.
