Gums and Baby Gender?
My oral hygienist took a look at my gums and predicted that I will have a boy. She said women with good gums tend to carry boys and she's been predicting for the past 30 years with a 95% accuracy.
Anybody heard of this?

I dont know about gums...but after having my son, I had to have two root canals and a cavity filled....I never had to have dental work before....
This pregnancy, I feel like my gums are very sensitive though.

As a dental hygienist in practice for 8 years I can honestly say I have never heard of the correlation. But good for you for having good oral hygiene

Hm, I heard that 50% of pregnant women may experience pregnancy gingivitis... have you seen your dentist about this?

I just came back from the dentist, my gums are excellent and I'm having a girl. With DS my gums would bleed everything I brushed

My gums were bad too and I had 2 's. Maybe it's the opposite.
