Does anyone tip....
when getting food at the movies (when they deliver it to you while watching the movie)??
How much do you normally tip if you do??

The few times I've done that I've tipped $2-3 BUT I am usually the person who smuggles in their own popcorn and cans of soda

I would not, I'm willing to bet they get paid more than the 3 dollars an hour I got paid as a waitress.
I have to say, I think all of this tipping stuff is a bit out of hand. I want someone to tip me for doing my job!

I never used the service.
But if they were bringing me my food so I didn't have to wait on the ridiculous line, than I would tip them. Probably $2.

no i don't think it's the same thing. a waitress is paid $2-3 an hour and busts her behind bringing food, drinks and napkins for about an hour. i have no problem tipping her for her service.
someone bringing me a bag of m&ms is not the same thing.
tipping is out of control around here.

I understand what you are saying but there is an actual restaurant in the theater so they are bringing real food, not just snacks.

oh--didn't realize that. i guess that makes a difference. i thought it was just snacks. again, i've never heard of this or seen it.

I have never heard of this before, but I would not tip. I feel like this is much like a bagger at a grocery store or someone distributing food at a ball game.
