I agree it is crap. Sorry, but I would want to get home safely and quickly too.
He does not have permits, he WANTS people to get arrested - I do NOT support the right to put cops' and other civilians' lives in danger.
Thank you! Maybe he should protest by getting a real job and actually contributing to society for once!

Wait so how long have you been researching his good and bad deeds? Were you informed a few minutes ago or have you been informed for a number of years?

Please do not even try to compare me to her....because I actually did state my opinions in this thread and gave reasons to why I don't like Sharpton....big deal that I said she was acting like a sheep. Its just an analogy....you were the one making a big thing of it.
Oh and you assume I believe in god with your ugly & humiliating statement. Never assume.

why do you keep bringing up OTHER people when we are asking what has AL SHARPTON done to help with these issues?? and by your response i guess i can see that you just follow what Al says and have no examples of any good he's done for the community. sadly i feel so many people who are followers of Al Sharpton always says the same thing "he speaks for the community!" yet can never say anything about what good its done.
and by all of your reponses I can see that you follow only the bad things that Al has done which is to be expected anyway. I am not a person that continually focuses on the negative side of people. Did Al kill someone? Did he rape someone? Did he tell all black people to chop off the heads of all Police to show them how it feels to be brutalized? Hmmmmmmmm no I dont think he ever has. So what is sooooooooooooo bad about him? You tell me.
He's a race baiter. If you agree with his actions, then it's your choice. I personally do not. He has done nothing good for the black community. He pretends to care to fatten his pocket, period. Most murders of black people are commited by other black people. If he cared wouldn't he try to stop that by holding peace protests in black neighborhoods.

from watching this unfold I have this to say...
1. God doesn't like those that throw stones either
2. Vega was supposed to leave a long time ago
3. those fighting with MJ are being just as "catty" and "ugly" as they are accusing her of being... * see point #1
oh, and why are posters so quick to jump on Colette (?) for trying to bring humor to this tension

I think it's time for this thread to stop, it's becoming really ugly.I think enough is enough, but that's just my opinnion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there was no need for this to become such a crazy topic and no need accuse each other of racism. I do hope I don't get attacked for this,LOL.

This is so stupid. Vegalady is allowed to like Al Sharpton for whatever reasons she wants. She doesn't have to provide a list to you all as to why she believes he is a good leader. That is so silly and very juvenile. As for people coming in at the "end of a thread," who decides when and how people can post? And Ophelia was one of the first posters on this thread.

Hahaha you are too CUTE. Well at the ripe old age of 40 and a lifelong Queens resident, I can honestly say I'm probably one of the more qualified posters on the thread, would you agree? 25 years of that man's SELF AGGRANDIZEMENT would make any rational person -- black or white-- quite cynical. He contributes nothing, and is a bottom feeder.
