so after my venting rant.....

The other day before we left for vacation....I decided to seek the opinion of Dr. Internet. After picking his assistant's, Nurse Google, brain....we have concluded to the medical diagnosis of low progesterone.....Has anyone been to a real dr and been diagnosed with this? What were your signs/symptoms?

Not diagnosed by a doctor, but I had a really short luteal phase (time from O to AF). SO- I started using OTC progesterone cream to lengthen my LP and hopefully get (and keep) a BFP.

I got my BFP- and will use the cream until 12 weeks. This was totally under the direction of my OB, by the way.

Another way to "balance your hormones" is to use Vitex throughout your cycle. This can be bought at any vitamin/nutrition shop.

Low progesterone would show as a short LP (10 days or less). You could try natural progesterone creams and 400 mg. per day of Vitamin B6 to try to lengthen your LP. RE's have various ways of treating LP deficits. You may want to get evaluated by your gyn or an RE if you are suspecting this problem.
