Well, Ron....my company will close on Friday, December 23 ...and reopens on Tuesday, January 3...you could try that

off both Monday - we follow the Federal Holidays -
when a holiday falls on a nonworkday -- Saturday or Sunday -- the holiday usually is observed on Monday (if the holiday falls on Sunday) or Friday (if the holiday falls on Saturday).

I honestly dont know what my days off are going to be. I am normally off on Monday so that has no effect on me if we are off or not but I think the company will be off. Saturday since it's just one woman and myself I am going to ask senior management if it would be alright if we leave early since it's christmas and new years eve.
Unfortunatly I cant take either days off because I am the only one out of the 2 of us who has keys to open and lock up.

For xmas I have both off, and a half day on the Thursday! For New Years, I'm off on the Monday.

as nice as a 3 day work week is... i think i might rather have (2) 4 day work weeks instead. but both are nice
