Could I still be pregnant? (long, but please help!) *Update

I'm using a "secret" name.

I haven't been a big poster on LIF by any means (not even 1/4 way to 1000), but I've posted a lot on LIW and would like to keep my real identity private so that family/friend lurkers will be none the wiser! (if you're really curious, I'd be happy to tell you who I am via FM - I just know that close family and friends are lurkers and I'd like to keep this private!)

I normally have a 32 day cycle (according to mymonthlycycles) which I have been tracking for YEARS (not for TTC, but just for my own knowledge. I've tracked 54 periods, and average 32 day cycles). My last few months cycles have been:

Jan - 30 days
Feb - 31
March - 30
April - 30
May - 35
June - 40
July - 32
Aug - 27

Today is CD 34.

I tested on CD 29 -- BFN
Again on CD 32 -- BFN
Again today, CD 34 -- BFN

Could I still be pregnant? I used FRER and tested with FMU each time.

The only weird thing is that I don't feel much. I usually have very bad AF cramps, some tummy issues, and sore bbs before AF comes... but this month I haven't had any of those signs. I have been feeling a little nauseous, and getting dizzy sometimes - but other than that, I don't feel like AF OR a BFP is coming.

Thank you so much if you took the time to read this. I'm just wondering if a BFP could still be possible!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, I got AF yesterday (CD 36). I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed.... we hadn't REALLY started trying yet (just stopped using protection). I guess we will actively start trying this month! I'm going to buy the ClearBlue Digital Ovulation Tests, this was I can get a good idea of when my O dates are. We are hoping to get pregnant by February! Thanks for listeningChat Icon

Your "average" cycle may be 34 days but you had some longer cycles in there too. Do you know when you ovulated and how many days past ovulation? I think you are probably not pregnant, based on the tests but it really depends on DPO. Good luck!

My understanding is that you did at some time get a BFP right? Have you seen a dr yet?

No, I haven't gotten a BFP.

By "could I still be pregnant," I meant... considering all of these things, is being pregnant still a possibility? Sorry if that doesn't make sense!

sure I didn't get a BFP until they day after AF was due and it was really faint. The day before af was due and they day of I got BFN.

It could be possible. If you go without a period longer than your longest recent cycle (which seems to be 40 days) I would definitely test. This month could have been a late ovulating month.

I am usually 32 days too! I am on day 31 today but am waiting to test, as difficult as it is.
I definitly think you can be prego I would wait since your longest one was CD40. Wait a few more days as hard as it will be and good luck!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

If your average cycle is 32 days, then that means you have cycles that are longer than 32 days. You may have just ovulated later this cycle. If you go longer than 40-45 days I would contact your ob/gyn.

I agree, if you are not tracking ovulation, you will not know when you are scheduled to get AF this month. I would wait a few days and if still no AF, try testing again. Good luck!
