Sagtikos Parkway
Good morning!
Does anyone know what happened on the Sagtikos this morning?
The parkway is closed both ways this morning!
I hope its not too bad of an accident!

the southern state is also closed from 41 to the sagtikos pkwy eastbound.

Wow, a lot of people I work with were stuck finding alternate routes to work.
I cant imagine how bad the accident must be!

I saw all the traffic going East on the Southern.......it wasnt closed going West when I was on it and that was around 8:15'ish. The Sag both ways was clear also.
I did hear it was a really bad accident as well and someone had to be lifted by helicopter.............

My mom takes that way to work and she said it was a nightmare. She works right near the court buildings, so she had to figure out a different way.

I went Robert Moses north to Southern State East to the Sag North to the LIE, free and clear between 7 and 7:15am.
Although there is grooved pavement on the Southern State now from the overnight construction that wasn't there before.
That merge, when you have to go across three lanes of traffic immediately in order to get on the Sagtikos is a killer if there's traffic.
