I need info on bankruptcy for a client
I have no idea even how to explain where to go, who to see and what steps are needed to be done. Most of the sites I dont understand. Is there anyone that has any info I can pass off to this family? They are in need as a family member had passed away. TIA

There are always commercials for Bankruptcy lawyers on television. Try to google bankruptcy lawyers in your area.
Once the paper work is filed and they get a court date, then they go to a hearing. It involves an individual of the court, a tape recorder and the attorney. That's it.
